Upgraded 2018 Toyota Prado
Toyota is set to release an upgraded version of its ever-popular LandCruiser Prado model – Australia’s top-selling large SUV. Revealed this month, the new Prado has several interior and exterior changes, including:
It’s a long range diesel
Due to its popularity and success in the market, Toyota is retaining its dual fuel tanks, which can take up to 150 litres of petrol and giving it a range of over 1800 kilometers. The Prado is the only SUV in its class that’s able to make long-haul off-road trips without having to carry extra fuel.
Extra safety features
The upgraded Toyota Prado has fitted the more popular GX and GXL variants of the Prado with advanced autonomous emergency braking technology dubbed Pre-Collision Safety system, which was previously fitted to the premium VX and Kakadu models. This system can detect imminent collisions with people as well as other vehicles.
Classic Interior Design
The new interior styling is a more refined and cleaner look, including a redesigned centre stack and flush air-conditioning panel and device collection. The quality of materials has also improved, giving it a high-class finish to go with its robust exterior.
