Hyundai reveals all-new long-range FCEV model
Hyundai has unveiled their all-new hydrogen fuel-cell electric vehicle (FCEV) which is set to replace its original ix35 Fuel Cell. The new addition is part of Hyundai’s low-emission vehicle rollout, including the all-electric Kona and Genesis models.
Two prototypes were in Australia’s Snowy Mountains last month undergoing cold-weather testing in order to validate the car’s systems in the as part of a global testing and durability program.
Hyundai has confirmed that the release date for the new FECV model will be early 2018 globally. Australian buyers can expect Hyundai suppliers to have the model slightly later in the year.
