BMW X5 2019 Revealed Price & Specs

The fourth generation of BMW's X5 series will be a force to be reckoned with.

BMW's engineers have thrown in sheer grunt and high tech to the new models which are expected to enter showrooms in November.

Interior specs:

BMW Australia has stated that X5 buyers will receive the latest in multimedia operating systems and a wide 12.3-inch screen. The 'Live Cockpit Professional' set-up will be integrated onto the dashboard extending to the third generation head-up display. Moreover BMW enthusiasts can expect new 'Vernasca' leather and 'Merino' leather options with the standard sports seat interior, fitted with a longer backrest.

Exterior specs:

The difference noted to the body of the X5 range is that it's 36mm longer, 66mm wider and 19mm higher. To improve aerodynamics and the cooling system inside, a new 'Kidney Grille' with air flaps has also been upgraded.

- xDrive30d

The alloy wheels for xDrive30d are a standard 20-inch V-spoke, with options for a 21-inch design. The option for selecting a 19-inch wheel is provided at no additional cost for buyers who prefer increased comfort.

While BMW is yet to release the fuel consumption of this car, the drivetrain has been improved as its now delivering specs of 195k/620Nm for a 0-100km/h time of 6.5 seconds.

- M50d

The allow wheels for the M50d haven't changed as BMW have kept it the standard 22-inch design. An additional adaptive air suspension package has been implemented for self-levelling your X5 by deviating it either 40mm up or below the standard height. This is exciting!

New X-OffRoad Package:

A first of its range, and only available in the xDrive30d model, the new package combines air suspension with an electronically-controlled rear differential and underbody aluminium bash plates. With four different modes that change the driving height, steering, accelerator, transmission and stability control, this new X-OffRoad package could be a big move forward for BMW.

Pricing:

As stated by BMW Australia, our brand lovers can expect to forking out $112,990 (plus additional costs) for the xDrive30d and $149,990 (plus additional costs) for the M50d model. These costs are fairly reasonable considering how jammed packed it is with exceptional features.
